Omid Fakourfar

Omid is a design researcher at Microsoft, working on the Microsoft Surface devices product line. Prior to joining Microsoft, he was a user researcher and product strategist at Versett, a product design consultancy in Canada. Since 2017, he has helped a diverse set of clients from multiple industries (e.g., insurance, financial services, travel, ecommerce and more) gain a better understanding of their customer base and grow their businesses. Omid partners with designers, product managers and clients to understand their most pressing research questions, prioritize them and develop research studies that answers them effectively. He obtained his master of science degree in Human Computer Interaction from the University of Calgary in 2016.
