"I am the first and sole product designer of Passbook by Remitly. At Passbook, I work on understanding financial needs, values, and pain points of immigrants to translate them into inclusive, creative, and meaningful design decisions. With a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Shahid Beheshti University, a Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction and Design from the University of Washington, and 5 years of international research, design, and software development experience, I bring an engineering perspective and a creative problem-solving approach to my design process. In addition to visual and interaction design, my areas of expertise include human-centered machine learning, ethical design, and feminist HCI."
